Family Holiday Pot Luck - Dec. 15th @ the squadron.  Each family is asked to bring a dish to share.  All are welcome.  We will have some activities for everyone to participate in like our famous “Turkey Shoot” We are asking for some help to set up, if there are any cadets or parents that can help please be there at 5:50. Cadets should come in full dress.

 

Meat orders - Available for pick up just after 6:30pm , they are being delivered frozen and we have been advised you have between 3 and 3.5 hours before they need to be placed back in the freezer. 

Field Training Exercise - Camp Linley

Cadets will return at approx. 15:30 on Sunday Dec. 11th and are to be picked up from 583 squadron. Please realise that is only an approximate time of arrival depending on traffic.

Santa Claus Parade - Sat. Dec. 3rd 

Cadets are asked to be at the marshalling area on Brown Ave behind Liquidation World and by the School District Office at 5:15pm (road gets blocked off at 5:30pm). Our # is 22 (#1 starts at 223rd and Brown Ave going East). Cadets can be picked up after the parade just off of Lougheed and 223rd (where the Mussallem Motors building is). The parade should be over at approx. 7:15pm. We would like each Cadet to bring a can of food for the Friends in Need food bank. The officer in charge is Lt. Murray. Don't forget your Santa hat (if you have one)!

Please Note - Trip to see Naden Band cancelled. Cadets will go swimming at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre instead. This event will be sponsored by the SSC so no money for admission is required, however a concession is available if desired. Please meet in leisure centre lobby at 6:15pm.
